About Seoul Express

Casual food court chain serving Korean fried chicken, BBQ Short Ribs (Galbi), Bulgolgi Beef, Kim Chi, Fish Waffle Dessert, and other delicious Korean Street Food items!

Located at 1689 Arden Wy Ste 2028, Sacramento, CA 95815, Seoul Express operates as a korean restaurant serving Sacramento in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Seoul Express at (916) 929-9000; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 289 reviews, which is a strong result for a korean restaurant in Sacramento and suggests consistent service.

Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Sacramento is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Quality food. Tasted great. Not greasy or no bloating. Lol.

If you are a strictly halal eater (like myself), ask before you buy. I said "is everything halal?" and the girl that was screeching "free samples" in my ear said YES. EVERYTHING IS HALAL. Then another girl said "no, not today. Only the chicken is halal today." (What is that supposed to mean? How can you have a halal sign then?). After that, the girl yelling said "well we have shrimp." ?????? I am so confused and upset. Made me lose my appetite and my trust! Are they halal only on weekdays or what? :) Anyway, let's get back to the "free samples" girl. She is poking toothpicks in chicken and putting sauce on it-WITHOUT GLOVES. UMMM? Sorry?? I genuinely appreciate the other young girl (I believe Asian) that both told me only chicken is halal AND wore gloves. Price and the amazing crunch of the orange chicken is what is getting a star each, but the halal thing really messed it up. Unfortunately, won't be coming back. DO BETTER!

This was my first time eating at Seoul Express and I loved it. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and the food was fresh and hot. I highly recommend the fresh squeezed lemonade.

Try the food for the first time and it was amazing especially that it's Halal we have to go here. It's basically like Halal Panda Express. Although for the price I feel like the portions were a bit small and the box itself was pretty small but the food was really good and I would definitely go back again.

I have to share with you about this Family Restaurant. I have tried many of the other places to eat but this one offers a service that stands out from the rest. You really got to give it a try if you haven't already..... and if you have go again! The food is always hot and made fresh. Others have said the seasoning if off point but I will sincerely disagree. Every item I have tried when eating there did not disappoint. The kimchi (shown in photo) is thier own recipe made every day from scratch. I have tried only two of the Boba and were both refreshing and the best I have had anywhere (also cheaper then next door Restaurant). I will definitely be back again!
